WHAT do our guests think about attending?

An all inclusive experience at the Cassiar Cannery – meditation, yoga, silk scarf eco-dyeing, big canoe paddling, massage, sumptuous meals and incredibly comfortable bed! I watched herons from my water-view queen room in Halibut House and shared the rest of the cabin and lots of laughter with 3 amazing women. From arrival to departure the retreat was a delight, including the ViaRail train stopping at the Cannery to drop off and collect passengers. Would I go again? You betcha!

This weekend truly lived up to its intention as a “rejuvenation retreat”. There was just the right balance of down time and scheduled activities, the food was amazing, the scenery was fabulous, and I laughed so much that my face hurt.

I have just returned from a long weekend at Cassiar Cannery where I had the most fabulous time. Justine and Mark have worked incredibly hard to transform the old Cannery into a welcoming haven. The food was amazing, the activities were varied and fun, and the company was the best! I loved the yoga and meditation, the canoe trip around the island, the scarf making, the mud facial, the massage, the comfortable beds, the view – oh, where do I stop?!?! It was a truly wonderful experience!!

So grateful to have spent the past weekend at the Cassiar Cannery! Justine and her family have created a beautiful, peaceful, and special place. The cabins are so well done and very cozy and the views are spectacular. Everything about the women’s retreat was perfect…delicious food, relaxing spa treatments, a big canoe adventure, fantastic yoga/meditation sessions, and great company.I would definitely love to return again soon! Thank you again

So lovely to spend a weekend in this piece of paradise.   What Justine and Mark and family have done in restoring this long neglected cannery is so remarkable.  The Women’s Relaxation retreat was just what the Nurse Practitioner ordered.  Every detail from the 5 star meals to the cozy cabins to the big canoe ride with Coastal Cultural Canoeing was organized to the tee. We were pampered from start to finish with a healthy lunch tucked under our arms for the train ride home.  Mud masks from the river flats, yoga, meditation and spa treatments. A heck of a way to ring in a birthday. Highly recommended!!
