Artist-In Residence
The Cassiar Cannery Artist-in-Residence Program is a gem for two visual artists to stay on site and immerse themselves into their practice in a dedicated serene studio space. Now in its sixth year, we host a long, 20 day residency intended for professional artists with formal training or the equivalent experience and recognition among their peers. The short, 10 day residency is open to emerging and established artists living and working in Northern British Columbia only. Applications open in September for the following year.

Women’s Relax Retreat
This program is not currently available
Designed for you to do as much or as little as you like. Scrumptious meals and accommodation provided. There are optional day trips, like bear watching in the spring and whale watching in the fall along with our favourite adventure – getting out in the jet boats to explore interesting places and fabulous scenery. Both Relax Retreats roll into the Rejuvenation Retreat for a longer getaway. Highly recommend doing both!
