WOMENS RELAX RETREAT

IT’S ABOUT DOING AS LITTLE OR AS MUCH AS YOU WANT

It’s unusual for women to do nothing.  Wake up at your leisure, have an uninterrupted coffee and a read of that book you just can’t quite find time to open, hang out with your sister, mom or besties on the deck, or just have a chance to be by yourself for a couple days, the Women’s Relax is designed for just that – a chance to decompress and do nothing – unless you want to.

We have organized some optional day trips.  Late May onwards is a fantastic time to visit the Khutzeymateen Valley, Canada’s first grizzly bear sanctuary.  In September, it is peak whale watching season when pods of migrating humpback whales feed in our cool waters.

We will get out on a scenic jet boat adventure up some of the Skeena tributaries or poking around the myriad of historic sites around the lower Skeena River.  The scenery is truly magnificent; the guides are safe and knowledgable.  Tides and weather dictate where we end up.  This adventure is one of our personal favourites and it does not disappoint!

The Women’s Relax can be a stand alone retreat but we designed it to roll into the Women’s Rejuvenation Retreat for a few fun days of organized activities and adventures!

WHALE WATCHING

The North Coast has a robust whale population and it peaks in the late summer and early fall with the arrival of the humpback whales.

These enormous marine mammals are humbling. We also see seals, sea lions, birds and I’ve been lucky to see speedy Orcas too.

This is a four hour tour with Prince Rupert Adventure Tours.

On Thursday afternoons in September only.
